This mural was created for the Ames History Museum and represents what makes Ames unique, past and present. I included architecture from the major university located in Ames, Iowa State University, motifs from the old Ames High School, artifacts from Ames’ locomotive history, nods to the many public outdoor areas, and patterns that give the mural an old-school feel.
