This branding project tasked me with creating a brand identity for a city assigned at random for the 2038 Winter Olympics. For the city of Reykjavik in Iceland, I spent ample time researching the true essence of Reykjavik and the Olympics through the years. After researching, sketching more than 100 logo marks, and revisions, final decisions were made on which mark represents the city and the games the best. The color palette, overall typography, customized type, pictograms, and creating real-world applications to showcase how my branding would be viewed at the games wrapped up the complete brand identity.
